Most of the telecom operators in Pakistan were offering 3G broadband services, only few of them were offering 4G Services (Zong, Warid). Now this time Telenor steps into 4G spectrum. It has started providing 4G test services in six major cities of Pakistan including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, and Swat.
Telenor will provide free 4G services to all of its users for limited time. Telenor users will be required to get new 4G compatible SIM. Telenor was awarded 4G 850 Mhz spectrum for $395 million.
This news will help improving internet broadband services in Pakistan. In all telecom operators only Zong is the company which is far ahead from all. Zong from Pakistan will be the only company which will test 5G services in Pakistan.
