On June 29, 2007 first Apple iPhone was released for sale, since then its been over 9 years. Since its first sale iPhone got spectacular response from users. After 9 years Apple in this year sold its one Billionth iPhone on July 27, 2016.
It was told by Apple CEO Tim Cook, to his employees. On that occasion Tim said,
iPhone has become one of the most important, world-changing and successful products in history. It's become more than a constant companion. iPhone is truly an essential part of our daily life and enables much of what we do throughout the day.
Apple has sold 40.4 million iPhones in the third quarter of this year, which caused increase in Apple's shares by 7%.
